Is Outlook Calendar end-to-end encrypted?

Are Outlook meeting invites encrypted?
Not on personal plans. When you add attendees and select Send, Outlook sends each person a meeting request2. It travels like any other email, so Microsoft and each guest's provider can read it.
On work accounts, an admin can set up sensitivity labels that encrypt meeting invites3. Microsoft says calendar items can't use S/MIME or Double Key Encryption for this, only its own Rights Management service3.
Can Microsoft see my Outlook calendar?
Yes. Microsoft's privacy statement says it may access, keep and disclose your content, such as the content of Outlook.com emails, when it believes this is needed, for example to comply with the law or protect users1.
If you add another account, such as Gmail, to the Outlook mobile app, Microsoft says its email, calendar and contacts also sync to Microsoft's servers1.
